Sandip Agarwala is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on life sciences credit, royalty and growth equity investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Sandip was a Managing Director at Longitude Capital, a life sciences focused investment firm. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Auven Therapeutics Management. Sandip began his career as a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and The Frankel Group.
Sandip received his MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BSE in Systems Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Scott Bluestein is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Hercules Capital. He is responsible for the company’s lending policies and risk management practices related to its loan and investment portfolio.
Scott joined Hercules in 2010 as chief credit officer and brings more than 24 years of financial services, direct investment and credit experience to Hercules. Most recently, he served as founder and partner of Century Tree Capital Management, a fund established to make senior secured debt investments with warrants and equity co-investments in small and micro-cap public and private companies.
Prior to that, he was managing director at Laurus – Valens Capital Management, where he had responsibility for a structured debt with equity investment portfolio, including new investments, portfolio management, and restructurings. Previously, Scott worked at UBS Investment Bank, where he was a member of the Financial Technology Coverage Group.

Michael is a Senior Investment Director and Principal at the firm. He is solely responsible for the investment outlook and manager due diligence within fixed income and other yield-oriented strategies while maintaining some research responsibilities within private equity. Michael also oversees the day-to-day activities of the research analysts. In addition, Michael manages the investment responsibilities related to certain client relationships.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Michael worked as a Senior Analyst at Athena Capital Advisors focused primarily on portfolio strategy for high net worth individuals. Michael began his career with Hawthorn, A PNC Advisors Company (now known as Veritable, LP). There, he was a Portfolio Manager for high net worth individuals and foundations. For a portion of time Michael was with Hawthorn, he was responsible for trading equity and fixed income securities.
Michael received his Masters in Finance from The George Washington University and his Bachelors in Accountancy from Villanova University. He earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003 and is a member of the CFA Institute and Boston Security Analysts Society.

Fridolf A. Hanson is a seasoned leveraged finance professional with over two decades of experience in middle market credit, with deep expertise in private equity sponsor coverage, new business originations, underwriting, structuring, and syndication. He is recognized for his ability to source and close complex transactions through long-standing relationships with private equity firms, independent sponsors, and family offices, as well as investment banks and third-party intermediaries. His transaction experience spans working capital lines, stretch ABL term loans, cash flow loans, and second lien term loans, with deal sizes ranging from $10MM to $150MM, often tied to sponsor-backed acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth financings.
